On Tuesday the 4th February at Bury Masonic Hall, Latham Ram No.136 held their Installation meeting. Presiding on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master was W.Bro Gareth Green RAMGR who was welcomed by the Worshipful Commander W.Bro Alan Ward RAMGR who was more “Latham Ram Hold Installation meeting”
Rugby Football Mark Lodge No. 1965 met at Rochdale Masonic Hall on 30th January. The Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Alex McLaren was in attendance.
After the usual administrative items, more “Customary whistle and yellow cards in evidence”
On Monday 13th January, Mossley Mark Lodge met at lunchtime for the very first time. The Provincial Grand Master, RWBro. Alexander Sillars McLaren was in attendance along with 20 brethren.
The Lodge was opened at 11.00 am and the main business of the day was a talk by WBro. Paul Holt, PGJD on the early days of Mark Masonry. Following the meeting, the brethren retired to the more “Mossley Mark Lodge met at lunch for the very first time”
The Deputy Provincial Grand Master VWBro. John Smith, PGJO and a Provincial Delegation of 13 attended Fabric Mark Lodge No. 939 on Tuesday 17th December.
The business of the evening was to advance Bro. Christopher Jones. The WM assisted by the Officers of the Lodge delivered a creditable ceremony and VWBro. Stephen Holt, PGMO rendered the explanation of the signs in his usual exemplary style.
The Lodge closed at 8.27 pm and was followed by a happy social board. The raffle raised a very worthy £156.00 and everyone departed around 10.00 pm having enjoyed a very pleasant evening of Mark Masonry at its best.
WBro. Roger Fielding, PAGDC, WM, opened more “Union 171 – new chequered pavement for Christmas.”
Rose of York Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners, No 1010 held their Installation meeting at Westholme, Mossley on Friday 13th December. There were 10 brethren present including WBro.
