Union Mark Lodge No. 171 held their last meeting of the season at Uppermill Lodge room on Monday, May 20th. Attending the meeting was the Deputy Provincial Grand Master John Hartley Smith, ably accompanied by 9 Provincial officers of the year.
A lecture was delivered by W.Bro. Eddie Barton which more “Union Mark 171 – end season on a high”
Tuesday 7th May witnessed William Romaine Calendar No.136, which meets in Bury, hosting yet another advancement into the Mark degree. Worshipful Master Stewart Mills was in the chair and more “William Romaine Calendar Hosts yet another advancement”
Provincial Grand Charity Steward, Brendan Harte, successfully completed the Challenge in company with his Son and Grandson. He was also joined on the Snowdon climb by his nine-year-old Grand-daughter who heard of her brother playing in the snow at the top of Ben Nevis!.
Ben Nevis was both challenging, not only more “3 x 3 x 3 Three Peaks Challenge”
As we approach the end of the current Masonic Season we now have only two years to go until our Festival matures. The big date for all your diaries is Saturday, 3 July 2021.
A great deal of work is already going on behind the scenes as we liaise with the venue, Manchester United, and start to bring together menus, AV suppliers, transport, hotels and all the other more “Thoughts in Spring”
