On Friday 22nd November, Union Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners held their meeting at Rochdale Masonic Hall. On this occasion, the Lodge was honoured by the presence of more “Royal Ark Mariners receive Grand Patron status”
On a wet and windy night in Accrington, Adoniram Mark Lodge met for their Installation.
Unfortunately, the Master Elect, Bro Allan Williams has been diagnosed with a serious problem and was unable to take the chair. The brethren of Adoniram and indeed, all the Province wish him well for a more “wet and windy night in Accrington”
On Wednesday 20th November St Johns TI and F W Broadbent Mark Lodges met on the same night with a view to supporting each other’s meetings.
FWB led they way opening at 6.20 pm with the Immediate Past Master, W.Bro. John Green in the chair. Items of business were quickly dealt with and the Lodge closed at 6.40 pm.
After a quick change of personnel in the chairs, St Johns TI was opened at 6.50 by the Worshipful Master, David Barlow assisted by the Lodge Officers and visitors who assumed various offices for the more “A team effort in Bolton”

he members of Scarlet with Gawthorpe immediately wondered what was happening as soon as the Mark Provincial Deputation turned up at Burnley Masonic Hall. Not to get too carried away with things as there was only 4 in attendance, and that included the Assistant Provincial Grand more “Scarlett with Gawthorpe Mark 1014 –”
As Provincial Almoner for this great Province of ours, I am offering to help anyone in need or distress including our own Brethren, their immediate family, widows, partners and dependents of East Lancashire Mark Masons.

The Mark Benevolent Fund 2021 Festival has only 20 months to run, but the Mark Masons of George Farnworth Nuttall Lodge 1405 still have their eye on the ball. At their recent meeting on 7th November, the Provincial Grand Master along with a provincial delegation paid a visit to the Lodge in Clayton le Moors. The rooms in Clayton are very well presented with the added more “George Farnworth Nuttall – MBF Grand Patron”
Pendle Mark Lodge was consecrated on Monday the 13th October 1919. The consecration was held at the British School Burnley Rd Padiham and lasted for an hour and a half, with 56 Brethren present.
They celebrated their Centenary on the 13th November 2019 at the Masonic hall Moor Lane Padiham with the Deputy Grand Master RWBro John Prizeman, the Provincial Grand Master RWBro Alex McLaren and 60 other brethren present, as the Deputy Grand Master observed that it is pleasing to see the attendance is going in the right direction.
