On the 15th March, at Hemsley House, Salford, St Andrew’s Mark Lodge No 34 held their installation meeting. In attendance was VWBro David H Thompson, APGM, and WBro Kevin M Reaney, APGM along with Provincial DC, WBro Wes Merchant, with a further 22 brethren from various Mark Lodge’s.
The IPM, WBro Ken Olive, welcomed all the brethren into the Lodge who was then proclaimed as the more “Maintaining their independence”
The Mark Fellowship of East Lancashire will be holding a Barbecue Day at Middleton Masonic Hall, M24 4DY, on Sunday, 26th June, commencing at12 noon.
Tickets are £7 including food cooked on the Barbecue by the Fellowship members.
Loads of fun to be had on the day.

It was just two years since the Province of East Lancashire held the last Masters and Commanders Dinner at Bury Masonic Hall before Covid-19 hit the U.K.
On Friday, 11th March 2022 the newly appointed Provincial Secretary and his assistant had organised the evening dinner for all the Masters and Commanders within the Province more “Masters and Commanders Dinner”
St John’s TI of Mark Masters No 2 Lodge held their installation meeting on Thursday, 10th March at Bolton Masonic Hall.
In attendance was VWBro David H Thompson, APGM, accompanied by 8 brethren and including 2 acting officers of the year. There were a few members absent due to various more “History of the deacon’s wands”
Union Mark Lodge No 32 of Mark Masons held their daytime Lodge meeting at Manchester Hall on Wednesday, 8th March. The Lodge was opened at 11:15 by the Worshipful Master, Bro Allan Potter, PProvAGStB, who welcomed WBro Kevin M Reaney, APGM and 12 brethren including 4 visitors to the meeting.
The proceedings were opened by the Worshipful Master who then handed the more “Daytime Lodge in Manchester”
Tuesday, 8th March, William Romaine Callender Mark Lodge No 136 held their meeting at Bury Masonic Hall, Parsons Lane, Bury. This evening was a special occasion as they were going to advance yet another brother into the Mark degree family.
The Worshipful Master, Bro Arthur Woodall, PProvGJD, welcomed the more “Yet another Advancement”
On a wet and miserable evening Mossley Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 1381 held their meeting at Westholme, Mossley, with 17 Mariners present including 2 visitors, the Lodge set sail at 6:40.
The Worshipful Commander, WBro Barry Rhodes, RAMGR, welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked them all for attending. The evening was a special occasion as they were to ballot for and if approved to more “Mossley RAM Elevation”
