On the 3rd November, the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Alexander Sillars McLaren, accompanied by the Provincial Grand Almoner, WBro Barry Heal and WBro Bob Summers attended the premises of Age UK Manchester at Openshaw, on the east side of Manchester.
The purpose of the visit was to officially present the Minibus that was generously funded by the Mark Benevolent Fund to the value of £32,739 (excluding VAT).
It is a wonderful vehicle fully equipped with wheelchair access and the appropriate signage of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons and the Mark Benevolent Fund.
We were met by Mrs Shirley Charlton who offered us shelter from the inclement weather and wearing our masks and socially distanced we enjoyed a cup of tea.

2021 Festival – Booking Forms
Brethren, I hope you are all keeping safe and well and looking forward to the start of Freemasonry again, as we know it, whenever that happens.
We are now in our ‘Festival Year’ which started immediately after the original date for the celebration of the Kent Festival, 13th June 2020. As you are aware, our Festival culminates with a banquet which will be held on Saturday, 3rd July 2021 at more “2021 Festival – Booking Forms”
990 Mark – Provincial Grand Officers Lodge
Although Manchester Hall has been opened since 2nd November 2017 I suspect the number of East Lancashire Freemasons who have visited the fantastic new building is relatively small. The developers have transformed the old Freemasons Hall into Manchesters premier eating and entertainment centre. They have more “990 Mark – Provincial Grand Officers Lodge”
Ronald Eadie – 50 Years in Mark Masonry!
On the 12th May, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW Bro Alex McLaren attended Quatuor Legati Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1165 to celebrate 50 years in Mark Masonry with WBro Ronald Anderson Eadie. The Deputy more “Ronald Eadie – 50 Years in Mark Masonry!”
